  • There are many risks by not repairing your vehicle's hail damage that many aren't aware of:

  • There are many risks by keeping the money from insurance for repairs:

  • Acumulation of damage from multiple storms puts your vehicle at severe risk of your insurance deeming it a total loss. This is determined by the damage cost vs. the their value of your vehicle.  If it doesn't total out, your vehicle is probably no longer eligible for paintless dent repair and have to undergo body shop work that will be listed on your Carfax. This impacts the resale value. It is important to repair the damage as soon as possible.

  • Paintless dent repair (PDR) is the most sought out process to fix auto hail damage. This keeps the repairs off of the Carfax and having to match your original paint. PDR restores your vehicle without using a body shop's traditional methods such as replacing/ painting parts, sanding, bonding, fillers, and is a quicker repair process.

  • PDR requires costly tools and experience to manipulate metal back into its original form without damaging the paint. If you are considering doing your own repair for your vehicle's hail damage, you need to know the liabilities. Inexperience can cause more dents, scratches, and even damage your paint. Risking this will be on your dime vs. your insurance company.

  • A hail damage claim will not make your personal insurance increase. It is illegal to increase your individual rate since weather claims are considered an act of nature. However, insurance companies can increase premiums by storm areas for those insured within that location. Individuals resding in that area will still see this influx even if they don't file a claim.

  • It is illegal for insurance to require a certain shop for repairs,. Most insurances recommend "shops on their list" or a "preferred shop". These shops work on behalf of the insurance company by contract pricing for the most "COST EFFECTIVE WAY", vs. the "BEST WAY" to repair. Insurance requires these contracted partners to collect your deductible in possible hopes of you not repairing. Our shops will supplement insurance adjuster's estimates to get the proper repairs & any overlooked damage approved since we work on behalf of the customer, not the insurance company.

  • We honor $0 out of your pocket for those fully insured with a deductible of $1k or less.  Insurance shop partners are required to collect your deductible per their contract with the company.

  • The PDR process typically has a fast turnaround time, however, there are factors that slow down the turnaround such as parts or paint work. Every vehicle is different, so your repair plan with be discussed after your evaluation.

  • If you carry comprehensive coverage, we highly recommend using the service you've already paid to put the value back into your vehicle at $0 cost prior to trading in/selling. One of our founders worked with an auto dealership and was able to confirm that any damage on a trade-in vehicle significantly impacts the value. this is the same whether you are trading with a dealer or selling private-party.
